The British Columbia Insulation Contractors Association (BCICA) is an association of professional mechanical insulation contractors, as well as manufacturers and suppliers of insulation materials and systems specifically designed for use in the commercial, industrial, institutional, multi-residential and marine industries.
BCICA serves its members and the construction industry through the development of standards & procedures, member training and professional networking.
Benefits of Membership

In addition to our Associate Members, only active members that are seeking QAC qualified are listed on the Member Listing page, an exclusive promotional tool used by those in the construction industry to locate and refer mechanical insulation contractors and suppliers.
We also offer a Job & Opportunities listing where members can post job vacancies.
For you and your staff, logging in to the member-only area of the website offers access to current resources needed to work in the mechanical insulation industry. BCICA is actively creating member-only resources to ensure its members are well informed and up to date.
Your staff will also benefit from attending member-only events at the discounted rate. Having a network of colleagues and organized meetings offers to senior and junior insulators alike the chance to exchange knowledge and stories that support the growth of our industry.
Volunteering is a great way to expand your scope of practice and build your experience. Members can join one of BCICA’s committees and assist in various other ways to support the Association.
Membership
Membership to the British Columbia Insulation Contractors Association (BCICA) is open to commercial & industrial insulation firms as well as manufacturers and suppliers of insulation materials and equipment.
Active Member: An Active Member is a Corporation which is actively engaged as a mechanical insulation contractor in British Columbia. Active Members have the option of being a QAC Certified Active Member. An Active Member that is QAC Certified maintain a continuous surety bond with BCICA that ensures a quick dispute resolution process. They are qualified to bid on QAC specified jobs and provide a QAC to the owner upon completion of the work.
Affiliate Member: An Affiliate Member is a Mechanical Insulation Contractor that has joined to increase their level of professionalism. After a two-year probation, an Affiliate Member is encouraged to complete the additional criteria to be recognized as QAC Qualified.
Associate Members: Associate Members are Manufacturers and/or suppliers of mechanical insulation materials used by Mechanical Insulation contractors.
