The BCICA would like to welcome its newest associate member Cerco Cable, a Canadian owned and operated company specializing in cables, electrical hardware, and fire safety solutions for active and passive fire protection.

Effective January 1, 2025, fall protection will be required any time a worker is exposed to a fall of 1.8 meters (6 feet) or greater, except for podium style ladders which can be used with fall protection height requirements that are compliant with local legislation. 

The WorkBC Wage Subsidy Program helps employers reduce hiring and training costs by covering a portion of employee wages, making it easier to fill vacant positions and support employees with disabilities or are facing work-related barriers.
